Have mercy on us… Skylar has faced unimaginable challenges in his life, yet he continues to hope for a brighter future. We brought Skylar all the way to South Dakota for heartworm treatment, saving him from a slow and painful fate in the sweltering heat of Georgia.

We deeply believed in our village—the incredible community that has always rallied around us—but the silence has been deafening. We still haven’t found a loving foster home for this stunning senior.

Skylar finds joy in the simplest comforts we can provide. Despite his battle with heartworms and having a mouth full of broken, worn-down teeth, every gentle touch and cozy space we create for him brings him so much joy. He deserves to know the warmth of a foster home.
