about ike
Who Let the puppies out!!!!! Who needs more chaos in their life? Ike has made the super scary trip to South Dakota for a chance of a better life. His start in life was not so fun. Out of three puppies to a malnourished momma dog chained up outside with little food or water he is one of two to survive. Then the poor dude lived through a hurricane! Bravest pupper ever. He is currently settling into his foster home and learning all the important puppy skills. Not getting enough attention? Sing the song of his people. Want more treats? Maybe do a sit/look and do a little cute puppy head tilt. Gotta potty – run outside and hopefully make it. Ohhhhh is that poop? Can I eat it? NO. Puppies are the BEST.
Ike currently lives with some pittie foster siblings, one human sibling, plus his surviving sister. He loves to play, cuddle, and of course chew on stuff!
Reminder: puppies are like new born babies! A LOT of work and even when “raised right” we give no guarantees to who their individual personalities will develop into as adults. We are looking for families who clearly understand this and willing to “wow” us with their canine leadership and knowledge. Love will need to be guaranteed for LIFE, not just when they are small, cute, and cuddly.

**Families with children 5 years of age and under wanting to adopt puppies will be reviewed on a
case-by-case basis. Raising a puppy properly takes a lot of time, and we understand that in families with small children, time can be a limited commodity.
