SNNNNOOORRRREEEEEEE – oh wait, I’M AWAKE! Really. Are there treats? Is it play time? No? Okay, back to snoozeville for me.

Hiya! My name is Bonner and my foster mom has declared me a lazy bones. I don’t feel like that is a fair description. Just because I love cuddling, snuggling, snoozing, relaxing, etc. doesn’t make me a lazy bones. I think it makes me the bestest friend you will ever have! Be honest – who doesn’t want to play for a few minutes and then snuggle? Do a short adventure, then snuggle again. Weather bad? Guess we gotta snuggle. See, I am a low maintenance type of guy. Just imagine how much more laid back I will grow into over the years!

Ever since coming to South Dakota I have found myself in the middle of new adventures. First – there are kids. Not the baby goat type of kids (tho they are here too) but human children. These funny, small humans are pretty neat. My FM thinks that I will do well with kids in my furever home but that I may do better with older ones because I am a big boy. 80+ pounds of absolute perfection I say! So what if I may accidently bulldoze a little here and there. Kids bounce back. 😊The next adventure was meeting all sorts of new animals. My FM has cats, cows, & chickens oh my! Don’t forget the EMU! Honestly, it didn’t impress me much. Just more fur and feathers. I still prefer my bones, squeakers, and snacks to socializing with these weird critters. On the brightside, it means that I should do well in a home with other animals with proper introduction. Regular ones and even the exotic.

Given I am such a laid back dude, I don’t sleep much in my kennel anymore. I do well out and about sleeping on the couch. I don’t have accidents because – ewwww – I like my space clean thank you. If I need to go I will just tell my FM to open that door. When I do need to go in my kennel, I don’t fuss around about it. Just give me a snackie and let me nap thank you very much.

Right now I am currently taking Apoquel for a minor skin condition and ear infections that is so insignificant that doesn’t take away from my magnificence. Hey, it feels like bragging time! I am amazing (duh). I am easily bribable with treats as I am extremely food motivated. You want me to do anything at all? Bring out the snackies. Yep, that easy. I am an excellent walker on my gentle leader and even off it, I am the perfect gentlemen. When going down the stairs with FM, I always wait for her. Since I am such a good boy I also do well with my commands. I have sit, wait, look, & shake down pat and am currently learning even more. If learning gets me the treats…I am all in. I am the most devoted boy ever. I will work for you, cuddle you, and just overall love you like no other human or pupper ever could.

Now humans the ball (literally and figuratively) is in your court. I ain’t no snitch. I am snuggle master who will be loyal to you for LIFE. That’s right..pick me and you get a life sentence of puppy lovvvvvveeeee. Ready for my brand of unconditional love? COME AND MEET ME!!!
